Camp Big Sky provides opportunities for children and adults with disabilities and their families, friends and caregivers to access, discover, learn and enjoy the outdoors in an accessible, safe and beautiful environment, all at no cost for daytime activities. The Camp offers a wide variety of amenities listed on this page, as well as hay-rack rides, nature study, lawn games, fossil hunting, kite flying, arts and crafts and a butterfly garden. Located on 120 acres of former surface coal mine land, Camp Big Sky consists of native hardwood timber, wetland, grassland pasture and two large spring fed lakes, which together support a diverse habitat and wildlife, and create a beautiful place to visit.
